Basically because you need the attachments to play it. It would be worthless to purchase digitally without them.

To add to what Smwutches said so it's a bit more clear, the game is not available digitally and the link is merely a placeholder to say it's available for Xbox One. The following link should give you an idea of what it is you need to start this game on Xbox

So, I guess she has bought the console (Xbox S) separately from the Lego Dimensions disc version.

Now, I just checked the Xbox store and it is still there even for free.

So, I would just go on their store on the console and download it right away.

Unfortunately that game was discontinued a while ago and was delisted. It is no longer possible to purchase it digitally.

It doesn't give an option to purchase it from that link since the game has been delisted.

I tend to buy games digitally now mostly except for games I am bought as presents.

I did collect all the lego dimensions packs and disney infinity toys that you had to buy physically.
