    For some reason whenever i try to put my disc in my games wont install or load

    Great Question,

    They wont automatically start installing but they will appear in Ready to Install next to Games (Digital) If it is a Disc you wont see them until you put the Actual disc into the Xbox (Disc)

    Hitting the Xbox to fix tray issues.

    What Enen is saying is that because its installed the disc drive wont be functioning, so load a few different games, DVDs, blu rays to check that the noise has gone permanently.

    Reinstalled..no luck. Never had this issue with the 360.. what a bad start to the next generation...

    Even though installing games to the hdd saves the drive life(optical drive) and makes games run a little faster being on the hdd, I'm really not liking installing games to the hdd first. It takes way too long. I moved away from pc gaming a long time ago
    and here we are right back..

    Games on Xbox 360 DVD installed faster since dvds are 8.5gb or less...I'm at 41% and was at 39% when I started typing this.
