    nba2k14 has the coffee stain, has no scratches but won't work


    Should I just throw it away and get another copy. My nba2k14 has no scratches at all but will not work, where as my black ops is scratched down to its soul but still plays and never freezes. 2k14 has the coffee station on the back. I want to know if there
    is a fix for the coffee stain or do I have to get a new disc. The game loads up initially the but never gets past the main menu, if I do start a game I can't make it past half time without the game becoming unreadable.

    which xbox 360 do you have?

    Mine is an overused and over abused 51 month old 60GB Falcon. Which means I have the Pro/Premium 360.

    How it is still going I shall never know. The console is covered in dust, crumbs, hair and coffee stains and it has 3 empty coffee jars sitting on it.

    I've been in contact with Anton Westburgh (CEO of Coffee Stain studio’s)

    His reply was...

    “Sadly I know as little as you.. Reverb has no answer even for us”

    So looks like Reverb (The Publisher) has messed up something between themselves and Microsoft, but with Sanctum 2 available on Steam (PC) In the U.K I can't see it being a regional block,

    so hopefully the issue will be resolved soon and It'll hit the PAL marketplace

    The stain might be where the issue lies as it could impede the laser from reading the disc. You can try taking it to your local video store and see if they have a disc cleaning program. Otherwise you'll have to buy a new copy.

    Purchased game on DVD media could be made available for free download!

    The disc already had a stain, internal, between the two sides, on the outside, but it worked and so did not ask for return of the disc. After a year of use the stain began to cause trouble in reading. There are no scratches on the disc.
