NBA 2K20 My Career Mode - Age Requirement

Recently purchased 2K20 from the Microsoft store.

When i try to access my career mode, i get a message stating "One or more users are under the age requirement, or restricted from MyCareer."

I only have one profile on my xbox, I'm 35 years old.

I've tried the following with no luck:

*removed my profile from the Xbox and reloaded it

*created a new 2k live profile and loaded that email into the settings section

*spoken at length with 2k support via their online chat, they had no idea

Can anybody help?

I've noticed this issue has been raised previously but no fix has been provided.

Hello! Just curious, have you checked your xbox settings and made sure all privacy setting in the required settings? I feel this may be a fault with 2k’s servers. I hope your problem gets resolved and my input helped!

Hello when I have issues I always just unplug console and internet from wall for 5 mins let all power go dead....replug then try again. Were you able to previously play with no issues?? I know the 2k server has alot of issues at times especially with
deleting profiles or not being able to use ingame money.

I agree with this, NBA 2K20 is rated PEGI 3 and yet my 11 year old son cannot create an account for it because his xbox account isn't eligible for linking. Presumably this is due to his age because mine will link. He really wanted this game for Christmas
but now is saying he'll hardly play it if he can't access the career mode.

do you meet the required age, cant remember off the top of my head what min age is but has to be above 18 i think
