NBA 2K13 server unavailable

Ok I have seen this asked repeatedly but not a single answer in any one of them. Why are the NBA 2K13 servers unavailable? No its not a connection issue as I am running Ethernet cable directly to the Xbox and I am also port forwarded. This is extremely annoying
as the only reason I renewed my live membership is because I had started playing this game again after not playing for over a year. So does anyone have an actual answer?

I just bought the nba 2k13 and I can't connect to 2k server ...all the time is unavailable ...plz help

 

CANT CONNECT TO XBOX LIVE BUT CAN CONNECT TO THE INTERNET

i also can connect to internet but can connect onto my nba 2k13 server coz it is not available

Im having the same problem, just bought xboxgold and cant play NBA 2K13...says server not available, also then tried 12 and same thing. Tried calling and got some guy in India who wanted my acct info...decided not to give it since this appears to be an
ongoing problem.

 

The servers are suppose to be shutting down at the end of September as NBA 2K15 is coming out on Oct 7th. 2K Sports did this same crap with NBA 2K12. I hope I can still go online and get some Rookie Rosters before they shut down for NBA 2K13. I didn't like
NBA 2K13 much though. 2K14 isn't much better either. With 2K13 your CPU players didn't play any defense and would allow lots of offensive rebounds. With 2K14 they fixed the OR and Foul issues, but now your opponent shoots a very high FGP every game. The Suns
and Pistons shot well over 60% for the game, which is ridiculous. Your players will just let players run by them and the C and PF won't rotate to help. Of course your oppponents CPU team does ALL of that and more. Everyone will rotate over to the ball carrier
to block a shot and they make it very hard to drive past them. It sucks. It's not fun watching the CPU hit 10 shots in a row, even with heavy defense in their faces. It's a crock.
