    Nat type will not stay open, why?


    I recently port forwarded my xbox, hard wired it and when I play online it is the only wired connection, yet no matter what I do my nat type will not stay open, even when the modem is directly connected to my xbox. I recently discovered that a hard reset of my router and modem get me to open on a fresh power up but if my console goes to sleep or I take a break and my console goes inactive my nat type immediately switches to moderate. What can I do to resolve this? Like I mentioned, its port forwarded with all 7 port codes, Im just sick of having to reboot my connection every time I want to play games online.

    I have a NAT Setting on my router but it is set to on? When I have it on automatic my NAT type stays open. I don't know why DMZ won't keep my NAT type open.

    Usually not being able to play with certain people is a NAT type error. I have had issues with the xbox one staying on and open NAT. It goes back and forth from open to moderate. Have no idea why. My 360 always stayed on open.
