NAT TYPE NEED TO OPEN

My nat type is strict. Im running a wired connection, i have a modem, and a apple tower that my xbox is plugged into. I have no idea how to open my nat, and it restricts me from speaking to people etc.

any additional ports I need to open? my NAT type in the xbox is open but the NAT type in game is set to strict.

What kind of Modem ? (model #) also , I would plug the xbox straight into the modem and make SURE its open there 1st be fore it gets to the apple tower...

 

make and model of ANY and ALL network hardware needed, there are a number of reasons.

If you have a Technicolor gateway, it IS your gateway. once those start misbehaving they don't stop. just get a new one. other than that, if you have a gateway and a router you could have double NAT going on, if you have just a gateway or a modem router
combination, you probably just need to turn off and then turn back on the UPnP, or DMZ host your console. if you run the multiplayer connection test and get a teredo IP address error, you need to enable IPv6 tunneling or teredo tunneling. you can find the

pretty much any Apple hardware just needs to enable IPv6 tunneling or teredo tunneling.

 

1. On your Xbox 360, open My Xbox.

2. Choose System Settings.

3. Choose Network Settings.

4. Choose Wired Network or your wireless network name.

5. Choose Test Xbox LIVE Connection.
