NAT Type Moderate while wired, Open by Wifi, HELP!

I've been trying to figure out why some of my games are crashing lately and I've figured out that some games that do server-base type stuff have been giving me a hard time because my internet connection cuts out here or there.

It's because I cannot, for the life of me, figure out at all whatsoever how to get my NAT Type past Moderate and to Open when wired. But for some reason, when I go Wifi, to the same router's network, it becomes Open. I don't want to do Wifi gaming because it can be too finicky and it's so ironic that WiFi is now the more reliable option for me right now.

I've tried:

UPnP, Enabled the whole time

Alternate ports, they just are not working

Power Saving mode, not working either

Buying a Cat 8 ethernet cable, nope

So, should I just ask my IP to give me a new router? Could the ethernet port on my Xbox be compromised?

I can try one more thing, but it is honestly so far out of my scope of understanding that not even online guides help me. I can "Port Forward" to my Xbox and hope that helps the router communicate clearer.

I have all the numbers but I don't know what to put for them.

What do I ever put here for the Port range?

It's really frustrating. I'm trying my best to get online and learn to fix this problem on my own but I am just hitting wall after wall and I don't know what to do.

If you're trying to port forward the required ports for Xbox live:

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)

And you don't know how to do it, the best option is contact your Internet Service Provider for this.
They can do this for you remotely

And also exists the possibility that your ISP has the physical ports of the router restricted
You also need to ask them to unlock all the physical ports in the router.

If they already have all the above opened, you can try and ask them to give you an static IP address for your console or white list the Xbox MAC address in your router to see if that helps

Looks like the issue is back. Any suggestions? Wifi is open NAT. Wired is moderate NAT with UpPn error now.

Wifi sucks.

Wire it. Also your max internet speed is unused without a wire, I get less than half my rated speed through wifi

Without ports open youll have moderate or strict nat 99% of the time

Hello there have you tried rebooting your router/network then trying to connect if it continues to disconnect from the wifi:

1. Check the Nat type to see if it's set to moderate or restricted or open. If so it could be a port issue.

2. Try using a direct/wired connection to the router/modem. That's if step one doesn't work.

Please may I ask, are you trying to connect to the internet over WiFi or Ethernet?

Also, NAT Types: Open, Moderate, Strict. You want to be on Open or Moderate but should still be able to connect to any network even if you're getting a strict NAT Type.

A strict NAT Type will just affect your performance within Multiplayer Gameplay.
