    does ethernet xbox one download faster?

    and I were actually talking about this the other day.

    In both of our situations, our NAT is moderate via wifi, but open via ethernet cable.

    Sort of on topic: Will ethernet open up the NAT? Just changed routers and my NAT is now moderate vs. open before.

    How NAT works is if your NAT is set to open, you can communicate with other open, moderate, or strict NATs. If it's moderate, you can the other person's NAT must be moderate or open. If it's set to Strict you can party chat with other people who have only

    Thanks for the posts guys. I've been testing out both consoles in my house and it seems that they are both getting Open NAT and Moderate NAT and seem to be improving at least. Also, I'm still getting disconnected from live occasionally. I think everything
    is working, I just have to wait for MS to iron out the issues from last nights release.

    Hey there - unfortunately as you're still on the Preview build, you do need to post in those forums. I can try and help you gain access to them though - what error are you getting when you try to visit them?

    The preview forums are up and running for me at least. As for your moderate NAT have you tried turning your router/modem off for a minute and then powering it back up.

    Can you try to open ports on the router? NAT moderate is not good as NAT open.
