    Nat issues


    Hi I have 3 Xbox ones in the house I upgraded to 200 meg broadband with virgin and I have one nat saying strict another moderate and one is open I did not have this issues since I upgraded I spoke to virgin tech and we set up port forwarding and it worst
    than better anyone have any ideas what I can do as my sons can't enter any games or get kicked out

    Weird issue with mic

    Sounds like NAT or network issues. Sometimes when two people have a certain network config you can play and chat with other people just fine, but not someone else with your same issue.

    My wife and I used to have a similar issue with chat in OG Destiny. Check your NAT and make sure it is open not moderate or strict.

    With 3 xbox ones on the same network you will need a modem only (no gateway or combo device) AND a good "gaming style " router (like Netgear) that will do UPNP and do it right , cant port forward because all three Xboxes use the same ports and one (usually
    the first one turned on) will win ...even with a proper router some have claimed you can do this wireless but I had problems pop up so I ran cable to all mine the make it work right.... if you have the modem router combo device from your isp , you have NO
    chance of getting this to work and stay working imo...

    If they can put it in "bridge mode" and make it a modem only ...I've always been skeptical of that , I would get my own equipment and give theirs back and stop paying "rent" on it...

    Pull your Xbox MAC address. For your routers settings you can add your xbox to the DMZ. @@@ well as silentdeathnote said those setting also help. But some routers block utp and tcp setting gaming systems need to fully operate

    Okay, I've done that multiple times before as well as now. I have no issues occur. All goes well, no symbols show up. It just happens in game.

    Well you should be able to find a model that matches close enough on portforward.com

    e.g.
    portforward.com/.../Xbox_Live_360.htm

    Just have a look through the list and see which model matches the interface you have
