    NAT goes "OPEN" to "UNAVAILABLE"


    My Xbox One worked fine. Switched it out for the X and now my NAT changes on its own in the middle of playing a game.

    I get dropped from Xbox Live.

    I then immediately check my network status and it says that my NAT is unavailable.

    I then reset the internet, still says unavailable.

    But when I test the NAT, it changes back to open.

    How do I get it to stay on open so I don't keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live?

    I get dropped maybe every 30-40 minutes. and have to repeat the process.

    I did try to clear the MAC address and it did work, my NAT type changed to open and i thought everything was fixed. I got on again today and it said it was not working again. My NAT type says open but when i check NAT it says it is unavailable.

    My Xbox one S is having connectivity issues. These issues persist both with a wired connection as well as a wireless connection.

    Even when I’m using the Xbox at a friends house hardwired to their router the issue persists. There will be moments where the NAT will randomly be open and the Upnp will become unavailable, or when the NAT will become strict and Upnp will be fine.

    Just go to settings / network / detailed configuration (2nd item on the left)

    Below the IP settings there is the single item DNS settings.

    If "alternate MAC adress" is not greyed out, please also have that resetted.
