Nascar car selection "rule change" issue on Forza 6 XBox One.

Recently bought the Nascar add on for my Forza 6. After doing so I'm now no longer able to race using any of the previous cars I own or purchased. I get a message telling me "the Rules have changed and I need to choose another car". The only cars the
I can use are NASCAR.

Is this a setting that I can change or am I now just ***?

I am unable to complete the one time free purchase for the cars in the car packs. Why?

Well recently I purchased a version of the game included the FM6 top gear car pack, FM6 eBay Motors car pack, FM6 Porsche expansion, FM6 NASCAR expansion, FM 6 Mobil 1 car pack, Forza Motorsport 6 VIP, Forza Motorsport 6 10 year anniversary car pack, FM6
Polo red car pack, FM6 Meguiar's car pack, FM6 Logitech car pack, FM6 fast and furious car pack, Forza motorsport 6 car pass, FM6 Alpinestars car pack, FM6 2016 Mazda forza MX-5. If I remember correctly it was called the platinum edition and was only available
for a short time on the Xbox marketplace. I so far have only been able to access the Porsche and NASCAR expansions. All of the other car packs will not let me complete the one time free addition of the cars to my garage. Does anyone have any idea why this
might be happening?

I just wish GT5 had implimented the NASCAR portion properly. As it stands, all of the tracks are not there, all of the drivers/cars are not present, there is no full season and there is no player specific car (you have to use a real driver's car which is
then on the track along with you). NASCAR is just one small series of races (5-6 events) that take place mostly at non-NASCAR locations. Oh yeah, and there's the Jeff Gordon Racing School events, which are races that don't count toward wins or pay anything.



That siad, while I love NASCAR (as a sport), a game devoted entirely to it is pretty boring.

I was VERY disappointed with the NASCAR in GT5.

 

As in Forza 5 you can't play with stock cars on the Forza 6 with Nascar add on. Only cars provided by the game can be used for Nascar racing.

 

That isn't the issue. Im not able to play ANY of the Forza 6 game at all now without using just Nascar cars. Prior to the Nascar download I could select and buy all makes/models of cars and store them and select them for use. Now when I'm not doing a
Nascar related race I'm not able to use any of those cars. I'm stuck with just Nascar cars for the other tracks or races.

 

The latest patch for "Forza 6" released on May fixed some of the issues that were introduced with the new NASCAR Expansion. Are you sure you are playing the latest version of the patch released?

 

hi, if you go to game options before you load the race track, you go down, and it should somewhere say NASCAR, in 'Division', change it and yeah. hope this helps
