    Narrator issues on Xbox (One and Serie X)


    Are there any other users of Xbox One X or Serie X that have the issue of the narrator function turning on by itself?

    If I play Forza Horizon 5 or The Division 2, when I start the game and go to menu, the narrator starts narrating. Even if I check the settings before playing the games to make sure it's off. During the game, I HAVE to turn it on, then off again.

    When I recently got my Serie X console, I hoped that it would go away, but nooo. It still happens. Could it be linked to the profile? So, I'm asking Microsoft to make the Narrator an add-on feature instead of built-in.

    Is the narration in the movie itself or from the xbox?

    Hi Steffanne,

    The Xbox One X does indeed have the narrator functionality, it is accessible in exactly the same way as on the other XB1 models.

    Which specific Xbox do you have? A Series X or a One X? If you have the One X then the Xbox One version doesn't release till April so, if you've pre-ordered for that, then that would be why. If you've got a Series X, then that's a different issue

    I’m not sure how to reach these settings, but I’m quite certain it is not an issue with my router. My series x has worked for months before now, and all other devices on the network are working, including my Xbox one and Xbox one x. I have been having this issue since roughly the time that my series x last updated, is it possible that the issue is an overlooked bug in the series x OS?

    Series X name is destined to cause issues, both for sales and legally.

    I don't think it'll be that big on an issue since it's not Xbox One Series X just Xbox Series X. I did wish it was called Xbox Infinite though.
