    Naming Xbox One


    I currently have 2 Xbox One's sitting right next to each other in my living room. I love using Kinect voice controls, however, it is a pain when both are being used at the same time and the voice commands control both of them. Will there be any chance
    that a future update will allow us to change the name of an Xbox for scenarios like this? It would be great if Microsoft could look into doing this.

    Hi there,

    That's an interesting request. I know there are times I will give my console a command, and the one in the next room will also react to the request.

    You can always post wishlist and feedback items in that section of the forums (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx). Then the right people see it.

    Well, they're halfway there already. You can name your consoles so that they are more easily identifiable when networking. All they need to do is find a way to make those names register to the voice commands.

    Xbox infinity would have been better, i hated when people called it 720....they went with one because they are marketing it as an all-in-ONE console....with all the backlash they're getting and if it doesn't end up selling as well as they hoped, i predict
    a new design, less features, and new name within the next 3 yrs.

    The xbox 720 has more of a ring then Xbox one or well xbox infinity because "Infinity' would give the impression its the ultimate xbox.
