NameChange appended numbers despite username going unused

I changed my gamertag two times today, once by accident and the second time to revert it back after the accident. The second time, I set my desired gamertag exactly the same as the one I originally had. Yet, it forced me to append the numbers as if the
account was already taken! I don't know what happened, but I know for a fact that "" is currently unused. Is there a way to fix this problem and possibly remove the numbers from my name without purchasing a namechange?

Context: Was deleting my account account and I wanted to transfer the name to another account , then realized it was in fact that other account I wanted to delete (Thus I'd no longer need to change my name at all, but by then it was too late)

Oh it's NOT immediate despite no accounts posessing the name, and the exact account that originally posessed it switching back to it after removing it? That explains a lot, thank you

Nope what you shouldve done was waited

Question what did you change by accident ?

Context?

Milketti is the same as milketti as far as thr system knows.

So changing the caps will still see milketti as taken.

Remember when you change a name yoi must wait for itnto be rereleased back into rhe system it may not be immediate

I think I failed in that I accidentally accepted a version of the gamertag with numerical numbers appended at the end. Whomp whomp.

Hopefully, we'll get added to the list sometime soon as the appended numbers are super annoying.
