MyVIP Star Ranks are not part of the Microsoft Rewards program. If you are an Xbox Live Rewards member with a MyVIP Star Rank and you transition to Microsoft Rewards, you will receive special benefits in Microsoft Rewards for a promotional period through
December 31, 2018. Click here to learn more.

Since we have not yet transitioned to Microsoft Rewards, there is no reflection of your MyVIP Star Rank in Microsoft Rewards.

I've had an Xbox Live account for years. Can I earn Rewards for transactions made prior to signing up for Xbox Live Rewards?



You can only earn Rewards once you're an Xbox Live Rewards member. Once your membership is complete, we'll begin tracking your activity and rewarding you for things like completing missions, earning MyVIP Gems, or working towards your MyVIP Star Rank
by making purchases in the Xbox Store. For full details on the Rewards available, please see the Terms and Conditions.

Since you only became a member on September 9th, we can only Reward your activity since that date. You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

Since your purchases have not completed any offers, and you do not yet have a MyVIP star, your purchases have not been awarded Credits.

It is no longer possible to change the region of your Xbox Live Rewards account, since we have disabled new user registrations for your region. If you choose not to change your region, your deposits will continue to fail, and your Credits will remain in
your Xbox Live Rewards account. Since these Credits will still be in your account at the time of the transition, these funds will be converted into Microsoft Rewards points:

If Xbox Live Rewards is unable to deposit into your account for some reason, as long as you have not opted out to make the transition to Microsoft Rewards, any undeposited Xbox Live Rewards Credits and unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be automatically converted
to Microsoft Rewards points and be added to your Microsoft Rewards account to redeem for whatever you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalogue. See the next question for when to expect your Rewards Credits and MyVIP Gems if you have opted-out of making
the transition to Microsoft Rewards.



Since Xbox Live Rewards is ending, your Xbox Live Rewards account will be closed. However, we will transfer over any MyVIP progress you may have had, which are associated with certain benefits in Microsoft Rewards:

Note that we are referring to opting out of Xbox Live Rewards. If you opt out of Xbox Live Rewards you will immediately close your account and that information will not be transitioned to Microsoft Rewards, and your pending funds
will be scheduled for a deposit that will occur by the time of the transition to Microsoft Rewards for your region.

A MyVIP Star Rank is an exclusive feature of Xbox Live Rewards that gives members a certain % back in Rewards Credits for monthly digital purchases made in the Microsoft Store on your Xbox or on Windows (retail Microsoft Store purchases do not apply). In
order to start earning your % back, you have to unlock your first star by spending at least $300 (or regional equivalent) on eligible content. While eligible purchases you make track towards your year-to-date Star Rank, your MyVIP Star Rank is recalibrated
each year based on your previous year's spend. As your MyVIP Star Rank grows, so will the % you get back each month. Plus, if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, your percentage doubles, and you can earn up to 10% back each month in Rewards Credits.

Please note: Purchase minimums refer to pre-tax totals.

Since you have not made 300 EUR in eligible purchases, you are not eligible for MyVIP payback, since you do not have any MyVIP stars.

When you visit the Xbox Live Rewards page you can find a link the FAQ for the transition to Microsoft Rewards. The FAQ indicates that your MyVIP Star Rank will give you bonus Points for your purchases, e.g., 4 Star Rank will give
you 80 bonus points per $1 spent (90 points per dollar total). This will extend through Dec 31, 2018.
