MyVIP Star Rank reset?

I just noticed that MyVip Star rank went back to a 1 and I'm now 81% of the to my next star. I was a 3 with 82% of the way to my next star. So instead of almost having 4 stars, I almost have 2. What happened?

Can't redeem on Xbox

I have 20,000 reward points. I want to redeem them on the Xbox store.

There is currently an issue with MyVIP calculations. We have identified the cause of this error, and are currently deploying a hotfix for the issue. Apologies for the confusion. This fix should be fully deployed by the end of the month at the very latest.

Ranks reset each year. In order to maintain or raise your rank, you need to spend the same amount or more each year. Thanks will reset again on January 1st. So you would need to spend enough to reach level 4 by December 31 in order to be put back at level
4.

For help with the Rewards program, it's best to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions forum.

Ranks reset each year, on January 1. In order to maintain or raise your star level, you have to either spend the same amount or more each year.

Hi Commander Jeto. Smwutches is correct. Your spending from September 2015 to now puts you at level 1 and 60% on your way to level 2.
