MyVIP Star % Back

We see that you have received MyVIP payback for the last three months. Looking over your purchases, you may be unaware that purchases that go towards offers do not award payback:

Please note: Xbox Live Rewards members may not earn Rewards Credits for multiple offers based on performing the same action. For example, your purchases made to complete a monthly mission won't also be eligible for your % back on purchases with
your MyVIP Star Rank.



So for example your purchase of Star Wars last month went towards the Microsoft Movies and TV offer and not payback. Also, pre-orders, consumables, and subscriptions, like your pre-order of A Way Out and Sea of Thieves, are not eligible for MyVIP and do
not award payback.

Hi Org1nizdGeneral. In order to receive payback for purchases, you must first unlock a MyVIP Star rank. Once you unlock a Star rank, you'll earn a certain percentage back on qualifying purchases. To learn more about the MyVIP program, visit our FAQ:

A MyVIP Star Rank is an exclusive feature of Xbox Live Rewards that gives members a certain % back in Rewards Credits for monthly digital purchases made in the Microsoft Store on your Xbox or on Windows (retail Microsoft Store purchases do not apply). In
order to start earning your % back, you have to unlock your first star by spending at least $300 (or regional equivalent) on eligible content. While eligible purchases you make track towards your year-to-date Star Rank, your MyVIP Star Rank is recalibrated
each year based on your previous year's spend. As your MyVIP Star Rank grows, so will the % you get back each month. Plus, if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, your percentage doubles, and you can earn up to 10% back each month in Rewards Credits.

Please note: Purchase minimums refer to pre-tax totals.

Since you have not made 300 EUR in eligible purchases, you are not eligible for MyVIP payback, since you do not have any MyVIP stars.

If you have at least 1 star in MyVip then those are only paid once per month. April MyVip has not been deposited yet and May MyVip will not be deposited until mid-June. If you do not have at least 1 star MyVip then your purchases will have increased your
progress to Star 1.

What is MyVIP and how is it changing?

As of October 1, 2017, we have expanded our MyVIP offerings to give more of our members a chance to be treated like the VIP they are. Previously MyVIP was limited to a MyVIP Star Rank, that allowed you to earn a % back on qualifying purchases. The expanded
offerings showcased on the new MyVIP page were inspired by member feedback and give members three different ways to participate in MyVIP:

MyVIP Percentage Back: Earn up to 10% back on qualifying purchases with your MyVIP Star Rank.

MyVIP Perks & Gems: Access special offers and earn MyVIP Gems for a wide range of activities and milestones.

MyVIP Vault: Trade in your MyVIP Gems for a Reward of your choice from our vault of curated prizes. You can read more about each of these different MyVIP features in the next few sections, or on the MyVIP page.

Since Gems/MyChallenges were only created on October 1st, it is not possible to Reward activity that occurred before they existed.
