My YouTube on Xbox one S keeps doing a screen tear glitch

Okay no, I'm tired of seeing this response. YOU need to send a message to the developers that this app is broken and needs to be fixed. This is clearly a widespread issue occurring for many people in the last month or so and I see this BS response on every single post about this glitch. IT DOES NOT WORK. This isn't on our end, it is on yours. FIX IT.

It seems to do it on definitions lower than 1080p most commonly. The lower the definition the more often it happens. This is definitely an app issue. Even the Microsoft store reviews right now are ALL about this bug!

No. You stop that. This an issue that all Xbox users that watch YouTube are experiencing. You stop that half effort response that you keep giving everyone, because it does not fix the issue it still happens directly after. If you’re an ambassador at Xbox fix the issue and stop telling us how to because it’s not gonna work from our end.

No one here has the ability to contact any developer over that of the average user. If you're having a problem with someone else's software, you need to ask them about it, because they are the ones who can fix it.

If it doesn't say "Microsoft", MS can't fix it.

It’s 8/09/2023 and this screen glitch on the YouTube app for XBOX ONE still hasn’t been resolved. What gives?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

"1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​"

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."
