    My youtube is blocked for age restrictions yet all my accounts show me as adult.


    I continue to get an error on my youtube app for xboxone saying that the content is for 18 years of age and will not allow me to watch it (music videos, ect). I made sure my google plus, youtube, xbox live, Hotmail, and other profiles all show my correct
    age and I'm not showing as a child account, so I have no idea how to correct this. Other people have no problem watching the videos on their accounts, but mine still remains blocked. I tried trouble shooting and contacting customer service but no one can
    give me an answer on how to fix this. Can someone please unblock or correct my account?

    this is in the MSN video app. Okay so i can have family settings turned off with an adult account and they are blocked yet on my 5 year old sons app with family settings on and i remove all restrictions i can watch them. How Odd????

    Cannot access premium content.

    I have recently transferred all of my profile data to a new XBOX slim from an old XBOX elite. Now when I go to add Microsoft points to my Xbox Live account of play online I get a message saying I cannot access premium content. My XBOX and profile both have
    no age restrictions and are set to adult and my profile says I am 22 so I do not see why premium content is now blocked for me.

    The Official "Problems with YouTube app" thread

    Anytime I try to watch videos that are "age restricted" (right now, the bethesda Wolfenstein New Order videos), the Xbox One Youtube app will not let me play the video or bypass the error by selecting "I am 18" like on the PC. My account setting on the xb1
    are all set to adult, and my youtube account also has all the content filters turned off (even though it still displays the warning for flagged content on my PC). I've tried every setting I can.

    Have I missed something, or is this just a bug?

    Before you make the leap into Gold Family...be warned. (A Fix!)

    Are Family Gold Plan accounts still restricted to 1 "adult" account and all other being "child" accounts (regardless of age)?

    That is my biggest reason to not sign up for the Family Gold Plan.

    Thank you so much for the response. If that is the case then why was I able to download DESTROY ALL HUMANS, with it also having an age restriction of +16? Also how do I check my age restrictions? My Microsoft account also shows that my age is well over 16 years, unless my Microsoft account is separate from my Xbox account

    You changing their Privacy Settings from Child to Adult doesn't change the account status to adult itself. So pretty much their accounts are still child. It will be possible to change it to adult as soon as they reach 18. If that is the age of an adult in
    your country ofc. You cannot change that setting manually. The restriction on downloadable content stays locked until they reach the required age depending on the content age restriction.
