My Xbox X is having sound issues.

At first it had no sound coming out, I unplug it and reset it and then I have startup sound and sound for the movies I bought but nothing else. Reset it again and I had sound for just the games, then games and movies and nothing for the apps, then just the games, and now I'm sitting with startup sound, games, and movies but still nothing on the apps. What the "H". Whats going on with this, is it the last update or is my system goig to hell already???

My name is Ezequiel. I'm an Independent Consultant and I'm happy to help you today. I am very sorry that you are experiencing this problem, please do the following procedure. Press the Xbox  button on your controller to open the dashboard.
Select Profile & System > Settings > General > Audio Output & Volume.
Select the Audio Setup option under Advanced.
Highlight the audio setup option you want to use, then press the A button  to start the audio test.
Note The audio configuration options in this list vary depending on the audio configuration that the console detects. The console will only display the options that are available for testing.

I have no performance issues but the sound was just a little concerning this specific sound only happens when I restart my Series X i linked a video to my issue if your able to view it.

Have any other games crashed like this? I have an Xbox One X and have no issues launching and playing Modern Warfare. It almost sounds like you have a hardware issue with your Xbox One X. Is the unit still under warranty?

Returned it and bought a Hyper X cloud flight S for my PC, this solved the problem! Clearly this is a firmware issue with Infinite and this headset or something strange!

Hyper X is Way better, Comfier with far better quality sound, The Xbox headset sound is muddy in comparison.

Did you mean you have the new Xbox Series X console?

Are you able to hear sound when navigating through your console's dashboard and settings?

Is your console's HDMI cable connected directly to your TV's HDMI in port? Try to use a different port on your TV if that works.

Please also adjust your sound settings:
To adjust your settings, press the Xbox button to open the guide. to open the guide. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output. Under Speaker audio, select HDMI audio.
