    My Xbox won’t let me add an account!


    Hi everyone, I recently purchased a new Xbox one in December and I’ve been having issues with it for a couple of months now! The issue I’m having is that I will try to get on and play a game and then my Xbox will sign my account off of Xbox live and won’t let me play. This happened for a few days before I found a solution, but about a week ago I started having the same issue so I tried what I did before and hard reset my Xbox but this time I wasn’t given the option to keep my games and apps ((which was frustrating but I said whatever since I wanted to play)) after the reset I went to go “add new” account so I could sign in and start downloading all of my games but now it’s not letting me add an account. I will bring me to a loading screen and then after about a minute or so of loading it closes and I have the option to add a new account again. I’ve tried everything, including to talking to Xbox support online and have restarted my console many times. My connection is fine but when I try to test my multiplayer connection I get an error code. When I look up the error code nothing pops up, I really hope someone can help me with these issues!     I am sorry to hear that.

    Please, change your connection DNS.

    Follow these steps:

    Go to Profile and System > Settings

    In the Settings menu, select General > Network settings.

    Select the network you're connected to, then select Advanced settings > Manual

    On the DNS field, input these:

    Primary: 8.8.8.8

    Secondary: 8.8.4.4

    Save settings.

    Let me know if it works!

    Has anyone else had this issue with their account status?

    I’m having the same issue. Told me to connect to Xbox live but it won’t connect. I am connected to the internet because the other apps work. Can’t contact Xbox because their virtual assistant is a nightmare and freezes up.

    So I tried to remove my account and re add it, but now it won’t even let me add an account back to the Xbox. Now I can’t use any apps. Basically stuck.
