My xbox won't install any games through a disc

Xbox one console sucks. Won't install games from discs. Installation stops half-way through the process.

The console will detect that you have the digital version of the game that is installed on your console if you try to launch the game and it will automatically launch the digital version. You will have to uninstall it first before you can install the game through the disc version.

That won't make any difference. The disc is just a medium to install the game. Since the they already own the digital license it won't make any difference of how the game is installed, it will still be owned digitally.

They are all disc versions. So, when I put in the disc, it says "queued." It won't boot the game up. And these are games I have previously installed to my xbox one. Any suggestions?

If you installed the game from an Xbox One game disc, you won't have to install it again when you claim it through Games With Gold. After installation from disc, the disc simply serves as the proof of purchase for the game. You can safely give the game
disc to a friend and you won't have to redownload the game just because you get it digitally.

However, keep this in mind. With Xbox One Games With Gold titles, if you decide to drop Gold, you won't be able to play the game. I think it's great you want to let your friend have your game, but I do want to make sure you know everything involved, too.

Did you download COD Black Ops through the XBOX marketplace or did you use the disc to install the game in your hard drive?

If it is the first case delete any data relating to Black Ops and try re-downloading the game again.

If you installed the game through the use of your Black Ops disc , you are still required to use the disc in order to play the game. Playing the game through your hard drive (with disc) will reduce your Xbox from overheating.
