    My xbox won't connect to the internet and it doesn't show homescreen


    This morning I noticed that the dashboard was constantly going offline and online so I restarted my xbox but the Xbox one logo screen took more than normal and now there's just a black screen. The thing is that if I disconnect the ethernet and reset my xbox it does boot into the dashboard.

    Is this a server issue or something went wrong with an update? (my internet is fine btw)

    Same problem here too! Won't let me sign in at all. Says my xbox cannot connect to xbox live. Connection test shows it getting on the internet just fine just cannot connect to xbox.

    My xbox is connected to the mac using an ethernet cable, so i clicked the option that showed on the mac. it said it has a self assigned ip address and won't connect to the internet. also under this setting there is no router number.
