  1. My Xbox Wireless Headset is refusing to connect to my phone

After my old Xbox Wireless Headset stopped working (wouldn't turn on or charge, all I could find online were others saying they found no solution), I have bought a new Xbox Wireless Headset. It connects to my Xbox Series S fine, other than needing to be re-paired every time I turn my xbox on (my old headset could turn the xbox on one i turned the headset on(, but will not connect to my phone. I put my headset in pairing mode, and the moment I hit pair on my phone, the headset stops pairing and my phone tells me that it could not pair and to "check the settings on this device", implying the device to check setting on is my headset. This happens every time. Hard resetting does not fix the issue. The only settings i can find are the configure settings on devices & connections, which do not help. I have attempted wired connections, both with a usb-c to usb-c cable (first connect to controller, then switch to phone, which is how my old headset accidentally connected them in the first place) and a usb-c to usb-b cable into my xbox, then switching to usb-c in my phone. I don't know if its down to the cable as my new headset didn't come with one and I cannot find my old one, so these are primarly used for device charging. Do I need to find a way to disconnect my old headset through these devices? Do I need a specific cable?

    :)

    Xbox wireless headset random disconnect

so this happen when headset is connect to wireless adapter only (remove the Bluetooth connection to my phone)

When headset disconnect with wireless adapter the connection with Bluetooth(phone) connection with the phone still there. I'm able to reconnect with the adapter anymore. My thought was because of Bluetooth but I don't think that it.

    Don't have controller.

Surround headset question: manufacturer claims chat audio via USB?

    The actual bullet point text:

Never Miss a Text or Call

Hook up your mobile phone to hear text notifications or take calls while gaming.

Yes, I made the mistake of assuming that because this is a wireless headset that the phone connection worked the same as their other wireless headsets (i.e., the connection is wireless). Having to physically connect a cell phone by a cable to use it on
a wireless headset kind of destroys the convenience of both. In my opinion it's such a worthless "feature" that they shouldn't have bothered to include it in the list of major features.

In any case, it does not say "cable" on the product page, and I found the feature to be misleading because of my prior experience with other TB products that do not require a cable.

    Xbox wireless headset connectivity issues.

Hello, I've attempted to reset the headset numerous times, and even after the reset the headset refuses to connect to anything other than my Xbox and one other device, if it can't connect to my Xbox then it will only connect to one device.

Mic stops working on Xbox S, have to unplug console

If my headset isn't connected to the controller it shouldn't have anything to do with the controller should it? The headset is wireless so it pairs directly to the Xbox through a wireless USB connection.

3 Things I do not like about the Xbox One. Changes should apply.

The Wireless Afterglow Headsets are the one of the only headsets that seem to just refuse to work in any capacity with Xbox One. Some people have gotten them to work by connecting the receiver directly to their TV but their are some TV brands where this
    simply will not work (Samsung).
