    my xbox turns on when i press the button, but most of the time the controller and other things like a keyboard wont work to turn it on anymore. My xbox will turn on, but turn off about 20 - 30 seconds later. it rarely turns on and ive tried to do some of the things mentioned on here, but they dont work anymore. please help. thanks!

    Hi, I don't like to give bad news but right now everything points to be a hardware issue

    You may need to get your console inspected and repaired in the closest authorized retailer or where original parts are used

    thank you, and i have an xbox 1, and ive tried a lot of things. ive tried fixing the vents, hard resetting, and leaving it unplugged and giving it time. none of it has worked. im really scared that i wont be able to use it again,as i cannot afford a new one. it just turns on and then off.

    Update:

    It seems to work for a little while after I turned it off (if i turn it off and press the "turn on" button in the xbox app 30 seconds later). But it does not work when the xbox hasn't been recently powered off.

    Anyone have an idea?
