    my xbox will not connect to my tv


    i have my xbox, and it hasnt had any problems in its lifetime. i just got home, plugged it in, and it started up. it will not show that there is any signal to the tv.i can connect my controller and i have tried a new hdmi cabe and it didn't work. what
    should i do

    Can't connect xbox slim to tv via hdmi

    I have had the a sort-of same issue. I had my Xbox Connected to my TV and resolution 1080p, then i went to my friends house and hooked the Xbox to his TV and no Video came to the TV... As my friends TV didn't support 1080p, needed to connect it to a TV
    that supported 1080p and then i changed the Resolution to the lowest, and the connected back to the friends tv and then it worked.

    If you had a power outage, I get a few, you may have to turn TV on with switch, not with remote and check SOURCE.

    I just have the soundbar connected to my tv via optical cable and my xbox is connected to my tv via HDMI.

    Make sure the TV is set to the correct HDMI input the console is connected to.

    Use TV Remote SOURCE button and choose HDMI 1 or 2 etc.
