    My Xbox will get stuck on the green screen then shuts off. Help needed please


    Basically explained in the title, when I turn on my Xbox it will stay on the green screen for about 2-4 minutes. After this the screen will go black for a second then it will switch itself off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Preparing console... *FREEZES DURING UPDATE*

    If you're stuck in the green screen, after rebooting from a stuck preview update, try a cold reboot. Press the Xbox logo, so the Xbox switches off, then switch off power supply. Leave it for a few minutes, then start it up. It worked for me, but stayed on
    the green screen for about 10 minutes before finally starting proper. Hope that helps.
