My xbox turn on but then the eliminator turn off

It is recommended to connect your console directly to the wall outlet and not via any surge protectors or power strips. If the console is performing correctly when connected directly to a wall outlet then it would suggest that what ever you are connecting
to is not allowing the console to perform as desired.

It's plugged into the xbox one. It works as it turns off my BT vision.

Also smartglass does not work the TV so eliminates any IR emitter issues

So I think I may have found the cause of this issue for me.

I have my Xbox set to turn my TV on and off with the console, and for some reason it takes a while for the turn on signal to take effect, as in the console is almost booted to the dashboard before it turns on my TV. So I will usually turn my TV on manually.
I have just tried waiting for the Xbox to turn the TV on itself and it has just connected straight to Xbox live with no issues.

So it seems that turning on the TV is interfering with it connecting to Xbox live somehow.

I will see if I can replicate this event and confirm whether or not this actually is the fix, but it seems to be working fine if I let the Xbox turns the TV on itself.

I will also verify if turning off the function for turning the TV on and off will eliminate the problem and report back here.

Hi. I highly doubt anyone had damaged your xbox. Any device can suffer a failure suddenly. Take a look at this Troubleshoot xbox
turning off and work through the possibilities on here to eliminate problems.
