Extra piece of information. After the light goes out, if I take the cord out of the brick and then plug it straight back in, the amber light doesn't show. But, if I leave it out for about 4-5 seconds, then the amber light comes on.

Sorry. but this still did not work. When I plug it in, it will vibrate but the light won't turn on to show it's connected to my PC. If I turn it on via press the middle X button, it will just connect to my Xbox to my side.

So my series s won't let me download at all I don't even get the option to it just goes straight to cloud play please help me figure this out

As soon as u turn on the Xbox does the green light come straight on that indicates a controller is selected ? Also try powering up your Xbox using the controllers middle Xbox guide button
