This solve doesn't seem like a valid answer. When I initially reset my xbox keeping apps and games the system worked for a good day or so. All apps functioned, downloads and uploads worked fine. If it would've been a hard drive issue it wouldn't have proceeded from a damaged or corrupt sector on the drive.

Hello Martin, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your downloads.

I see you've already reset the modem/router and console. When you did this and were prompted to bring over previous settings or use the app did you select Yes or No?

If you select Yes or used the app when doing the reset then I'd suggest trying again but this time delete everything from the console and start fresh. Do not bring over previous settings or use the app.

If you still are unable to download to the console after this then that would suggest an issue with the internal hard drive. If this is the case then I'd recommend sending the console in for a repair. You can set this up at https://account.microsoft.com/devices.

Once set up and you've received your shipping label via email you can pack up the console. Please be sure to send only the console and nothing else as Xbox does not guarantee that extra items such as cables or controllers will be returned.

If you would like to get a response directly from support then I'd recommend starting a chat at https://support.xbox.com/contact-us and ask to be escalated to a Microsoft Advocate when you get to a fellow gamer.

There are literally 20 posts about the same issue in reddit xbox support. So 20+ consoles having the EXACT same issue , ALL failed at roughly the same time.....with many of those owners having already hard reset to no avail.....yet somehow the answer is to send it in? We already know the issue isn't solved by a full factory reset. It's fine and dandy there's no help atm, but you will see there's far more people with this EXACT same issue that aren't even aware of it right now. You're going to tell all those people to send in their consoles??? Comon, for real??

I can understand your reluctance to try this but if the reset deleting everything doesn't work then you would need to set up a repair.
