    My xbox series x will go into low resolution mode and trouble shooting then immediately...


    I was try to move games from one external storage device to another, then it froze up. I restarted the console but it would show the booting up sequence, then a black screen. I've inspected all the wires and everything seems to be okay. I'm a little lost and have tried a few "fixes" but none have worked.

    Try to force a reset by following these steps:

    Turn off the console and disconnect the power cord to make sure the console is completely off.

    Plug it back in.

    Press and hold the Pair button and the Eject button at the same time, then press the power button on the console.

    Continue pressing the Pair button and Eject button for 10 to 15 seconds.

    You will hear two "power on" tones after a few seconds.

    You can release the Pair button and Eject button after the second power-up tone.

    This will take you to the troubleshooter, there you will need to reset the console, you can choose the option to keep games and applications.
