My Xbox series X keeps disconnecting from internet and Xbox live for a few a couple seconds...

I sympathise. Since this latest update my xbox one keeps disconnecting from the internet saying no network detected when the settings says it is. I have a series x haven't tried that yet to see if same issue .

Try pulling out your broadband connection. Had this happen with a couple of games now. If the disc keeps spinning for more than a minute or so, just disconnect your console's internet cable. If you're using wireless, disconnect the dongle's USB cable. Your
connection to Xbox Live will drop, and a few seconds later the disc will stop spinning. You can then reinsert the cable, sign back in to Xbox Live, and play the game without the disc spinning. Works for me, anyway!

Just to make sure we are on the same page; can you please confirm that your Xbox Series X is on basement, and it is connected to the internet through Wi-Fi while the Xbox One is connected to the ethernet cable and is located on second floor?

If that is correct, it looks like you need to strengthen the network connection so you can play on both consoles without interruption. The source of the internet will interfere with this setup. For more details about interference, please check:

Although the signal of the network is high or the usage is low for the internet, the interference can really disrupt the ability for you to play smoothly. Which in this case, you will need to contact your Internet service provider.

• Kindly go to Xbox Console's Settings.
  
• Select Network and Network Settings.
  
• Look for NAT Type.
  
• Please reply with a screenshot or picture of the Xbox Network.
