My Xbox series X is on but not showing any display and controller are not connecting

Hello, Steven S. I'm Arturo, and I'll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

I'm sorry to hear that your Xbox console is not showing up on display.

Not only that, but I would like to ask if you tried:

    A. Start your Xbox in the low resolution mode.

“If there's a disc in the console, eject it.
On the console, press and hold the Power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds to turn off the console.

Press and hold the Power button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep.

Don’t let go until you hear the second beep or see the console start up in low resolution mode (the Xbox startup screen will appear slightly pixelated).

Note: If you have an Xbox Series S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, press and hold the Xbox button and the Pair button instead, as your console doesn’t have an Eject button.

In either case, this will start up your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480).”

After doing this procedure, you can change the resolution again.

    B. Perform a physical power cycle:

“Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps.
Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.”

    C. Connect your console to another HDMI port on your TV.

    D. Use a different HDMI cord.

    E. Connect your console to another TV in your house.

I hope you find this answer helpful to your inquiry. However, I'll remain attentive to any other one you may have.

    Regards,

    Arturo.

Unable to project PC to Xbox series x using wireless display

    Hello George C.

I have tested the above and had no luck. The closet I get is I connect both PC and Xbox Series X to the same WIFI (with both network cables unplugged) and I can see the XBOX as a wireless display to cast my PC. however, it attempts to connect, and the screen blinks and immediately says disconnected.

I have now been able to connect to the XBOX with my laptop, but still not able to connect through my PC.

My PC is showing as a wireless display capable device in the Drivers command "Wireless Display Supported: Yes (Graphics Driver: Yes, Wi-Fi Driver: Yes)"

I have further uninstalled Norton antivirus from my PC and reverted to windows antivirus.

surely I cannot be the only one with this issue?

I see that this post has the same issue, but the thread is now locked

Xbox series X controller refusing to sync and not displaying on TV

Hi and thanks for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be happy to help you.

Sorry to hear you're having problems with your Xbox Series X; here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the controller sync issue and the Xbox home screen not displaying on the TV:

    1. Try a wired connection: Use a USB cable to connect your controller to the Xbox Series X and see if it connects. If it does, you can try to sync it wirelessly again.

    2. Hold down the sync button on the back of the controller for 15 seconds until the Xbox button begins flashing, then release the button. Turn off and unplug the Xbox Series X for a few minutes, then turn it back on and try syncing the controller again.

    3. Update your controller firmware: If your controller's firmware is out of date, it may be unable to connect to the Xbox Series X. To check for updates, navigate to Settings > Devices & accessories > Xbox Wireless Controller > Device info and see if a firmware update is available.

    4. Try a different HDMI cable or port: A faulty HDMI cable or port could be the cause of the Xbox home screen not displaying on the TV. Try connecting the Xbox Series X to a different HDMI port on your TV or using a different HDMI cable.

    5. Check the TV settings: Ensure that the HDMI port to which the Xbox Series X is connected is set to the correct input on your television. You can also try turning off any special TV features, such as HDR or 4K, to see if that helps.

Hopefully, one of these steps will help you resolve your problems.
