My Xbox Series X is not performing very well even after service.

I recently got my Series X serviced due to performance issues. It was running games at low framerates. I tried resetting the console, adjusting the display settings, and changing hdmi ports. Even after I got it back it has been acting weird. It was also sent back with scratches and scuff marks which was a bit annoying. I know it is probably not a network issue because I have high speed internet, and it is connected to tue router via etuernet cable. Even offline games are affected by this issue. I contacted Microsoft about the issue even after it was serviced as well as the scratch and scuff marks when I got it back.

I'm gonna stick with my 4k for the moment but will update just pricing it's too big expensive bits of kit, how much stuff is gonna be at 8k by then? Netflix etc
if its only a few games I think I will wait get my x series then go from there

I very much doubt that we are going to be gaming at 8K on Xbox Series X, unless the Xbox Series X has the power and performance of at least two RTX 2080 Ti's ( which are around £1000 each ),

8K games / gaming is more likely to be the next generation after Xbox Series X.

Can we get ahold someone who can answer this for certain? I am also having an issue with my right thumbstick and this is a very expensive, and DIFFERENT product from a normal Elite Series 2 controller. If Microsoft/Xbox can't warranty the specific sku, then why is there even a warranty in the box at all? If they were to send a regular Elite Series 2 back after a Halo Infinite version is sent in, then they would be performing a scam--not a warranty service.

Well, I like the performance that the games on Xbox Series S have (I played on my brothers Series S) but I need something that isn't all that expensive. I am aware about the high prices for the Xbox S and X, and although the Series S is on my list, do you think there is one that may be better for price, but holds similar performance?

It’s not a series s issue. It’s very apparent on the series x aswell and some ps5s. Wait for vanguard you will see better textures and performance
