    My Xbox Series X can’t connect to my wifi network.


    My Xbox is unable to connect to my house’s wifi network, but every other device (including my friend’s Xbox) has no issues. I’ve tried forgetting the network, as well as factory resetting (both hard and soft) and nothing has worked. For some reason it can connect to my phone’s hotspot but the wifi just doesn’t work. What do I do from here?

    Hi Tony Ogle!

    Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    "1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

    May I ask how you fixed this problem 0because that is the exact same thing mine is doing I can connect to my hotspot but cant connect to my wifi

    Connection required message however the other game work fine connecting.

    It appears to have been a problem with the DNS configuration with my Xbox. Not sure why it randomly got funked but the problem seems to be solved. Thanks for the help :)
