My Xbox series S works fine on hotspot but when I connect to wifi it doesn’t connect

So I would use a hotspot and that would work so I’m guessing a wifi thing but everything else works fine it’s just my Xbox that doesn’t want to connect to my wifi

Hey, sorry for such a late reply. Yeah, I tried connecting to a hotspot and had the same issue.

Edit: I messed up when trying to use a hotspot. My phone was still connected to the wifi and was sharing the wifi connection. After fixing it and using my phones actually hotspot connection, it worked fine.

But the internet works fine with other devices. All the devices that are able to connect to wifi are connectes to the wifi except the console. I even tried to use my phone hotspot to my xbox but it still didnt work

Sorry but that doesn’t help. Like I said, when the wifi is down my Xbox still accepts a hotspot. When the internet is running on my phone and computer, the Xbox doesn’t recognize any wifi including hotspots or neighbors
