My Xbox Series S went black.

Hello,

I was playing Elden Ring when suddenly my Xbox Series S went black. The console was still starting (xbox logo on it is glowing) but the screen stopped recognizing HDMI connection to the console. I tried to start the Safe Mode, it didn't work. I checked the cables and the screen. They seemed to work (I can connect my laptop to the screen with the same HDMI cable). So I send it to microsoft for repair under the warranty. Today I got it back. And the problem stayed the same. My screen doesn't see the xbox.

I don't know what could be the problem.

If somebody could help me I would be really glad.

Have you tried connecting the Xbox to a different screen, or using a different HDMI cable?

Sorry to hear you are having issues, have you tried forcing low res mode?

Yes, I tried. It showed no picture.

No it's longer and white, with no black circle on it. It's still a series s Xbox and when I looked up compatible consoles for this game it said the series s.

I had this same exact problem. I finally got through and explained it to support and they refunded the purchase. It is a shame black isle went silent online and appear this will never be patched. Also used series S
