Hello Lauren, sorry to her you're having trouble with your console.

Please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. Then unplug it for 30 seconds. Then hold the Sync button (left side near the USB port on the original Xbox One and just below the power button on the S and X consoles) and the Eject button for the console then press the power button and hold until you hear a second start up noise.

If you are using the Xbox One All Digital console then you only need to hold the Sync button and then press the power button to reset.

You should now see a new screen. Scroll over to Restart/Reset and reset the console to factory settings. There is an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them.

Hi thanks for attempting to help me get my Xbox back on but it’s not working . Who do I complain to about this as I’ve had the console literally just over the warranty and then this happens I feel like if it’s a hardware problem convenient for it to break just after the warranty has run out . Hi I've just tried this cannot still get picture heard the beeping which I couldn't before but rtill not picture like its not reading the cbox not even showing me the ndmis plugged into but it is I've tried this on my playtime which will get a hdmi reading on the telly thanks

Try all the recommended troubleshooting steps here (refer to the ones that apply to your specific issue):

If everything is properly connected and you’ve tried different HDMI cables and ports (and perhaps even another TV/monitor if possible), then perform a hard reset by disconnecting the HDMI and power cables (from both the wall outlet and the console itself) and wait at least 10 seconds before reconnecting everything to completely reset your setup.

Also, disconnect any peripherals such as external storage drives and wired controllers.

If the issue persists after trying the above and as the display settings reset didn’t help, then this would unfortunately indicate a hardware fault and you would need to request a repair or replacement as previously advised. Refer to:
