My Xbox Series S keeps stopping my installations

I was trying to install Cyberpunk today every time i try to install it, it just immediately goes to installation stopped, this started happening to all of the games I tried to install, it’s becoming a genuine problem because a few of my favorite games have updates that i can’t download

These guys clearly don't care or have absolutely no clue how to fix this issue. Just wait till enough people keep having these issues and they will fix it.

Hi Luke, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, please unplug the hard drive and then perform a power cycle before attempting to install a game again, keep the hard drive unplugged.

"POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. "

If you don't have an external hard drive we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."

I tried what you said on this post but that did not work It still has the same issue and I have enough space, I did the reinstall , I did the wifi check but nothing is happening , how can I fix the issue?No games will download what so ever

The FAQ states the following:

If you’re playing from disc on Xbox Series X|S, you’ll need to keep the disc inserted to play that game.

This implies if I bought a disc and installed on my xbox one, I would require the disc to play on my Series S. However the Series s is discless. I don't understand how a physical disc can state smart delivery for the Series S.

Does the installation show any error message or it just stops?

By Xbox S, do you mean the Xbox Series S?

And are these games Series S/X optimized games?
