My Xbox Series S is very slow

My Xbox startup time is over 3 minutes, apps crash, and games don’t really download.

I’ve already tried hard resetting, and even that’s not working. I’ve also unplugged and waited for 1 minute, and then turned it on with no luck. I need help.

I understand, please also double-check first if the console has a pending system update that needs to be installed, if not then it would be best to send the console for repair.

I have done both of these, and still it is very slow. I have also done steps like clearing the cache and resetting everything. It didn't work, so I am going to get my Xbox repaired.

I have already sent it for repair. It has fixed the problem for a while, but now it’s doing the thing again.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: If there is an external hard drive connected to your console now, turn off your console then disconnect it, and turn on your console without the external hard drive. Kindly check if the same issue persists with the apps and games.

Solution 2: Please do the steps below in sequence to do a factory reset and let me know if it works:

- Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

- Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

- Wait 30 seconds.

- Plug the power cord back in.

- Press and hold the BIND button (the one you use to sync controllers) and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

- Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

- Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart.

Note: If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.

- You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

- The console should start and show the Troubleshooting screen

- Choose "reset this Xbox" and there you have an option to Keep Games and Apps (already downloaded) or to Remove Everything

Xbox series s.. the console is very slow and has frame drops at times when im with certain friends and does not do that when im with other friends
