My Xbox series s is struggling to load anything when I have 200 mbs of download and 150 mbs...

My internet package as advertised by my ISP is 150 MB/s. download and 150 MB/s. upload.

While running speed tests on my PC, I am getting results in the range of: 150 - 170 MB/s. download and 140 - 150 MB/s. upload.

While doing speed test on my Xbox OneX, the results are : 20 - 27 MB/s. download and 9 - 11 MB/s. upload.

Both my PC and Xbox OneX are connected via an ethernet cable. Now I'm far from being the most tech savvy guy out there, but something seems way off. I have researched multiple help/troubleshoot pages, to no avail.

I too would like to hear any information/help in regards to this.

Try power cycling your router. My download speeds on Live are usually really good. I have a 300 mb/s connection and I usually can download games at around 150-200.

Microsoft/Xbox Limit the download speed to avid any saturation on the service...

I have 500 MB and i download the games from 20 mb to 200 MB tops.

I think you maybe confusing your Megabits (Mb/s) with your Megabytes (MB/s). I'm not sure if the Windows Store shows downloads in Mb/s or MB/s but the Xbox Windows App shows downloads in MB/s. Therefore a download speed of 100 Mb/s would be around 12 MB/s second at full speed.

I have a 330Mb/s download from my ISP. When converted to MB/s it would work out to about 41 MB/s. Which is what I got here. Perfectly normal.





Therefore the Windows store is not downloading faster than the Xbox app. The Xbox app is displaying Megabytes per second rather than Megabits.
