My Xbox Series S is making a whirling sounds.

Personally, on my Xbox console, I don't hear those kinds of sounds, neither with low-demanding games nor with demanding ones, so it's not something normal, especially if the noise is audible from a normal distance from the console.

In this case it will be necessary for you to create a service order for your console to be properly inspected and repaired.

If your console is not listed there, you will need to register it by clicking on the "Register device" button. Then, you will need to fill in the required information and follow the steps that appear to process the service order.

It's not a metal sound, but it is way louder than my xbox 360 slim when playing a digital game.

I'm not sure how to explain, but its like whirling sound, very differente from the 360.

My One made a buzzing sound which eventually turned into not reading the discs. No whirling sound. You can either return it to the retailer for exchange or register the serial number on xbox.com and schedule a repair.

Sounds like something I'd enjoy , I've never heard of it but I'll give it a whirl ☺

Okay so just to make sure I understand.....

I make my sons Series S (MY) Home Console.....

He can play Online with me if I am on my PC signed in as me.
I can also sign into my own Series X and play my games.

We wont be playing together on XBOX on both Series S and Series X.
