    My XBox Series S controllers continue disconnecting to my Xbox One/S.


    My Xbox controllers won’t connect to my Xbox One. I've tested this with two different controllers, and they both experience the same issue. I followed the recommended steps for fixing the connectivity issues:

    Replacing the batteries

    Re-synching the controllers to the console.

    Updating the controller firmware

    Updating the console firmware/software

    Turning the console off (shut down) and turning it back on.

    I am still experiencing the same issues, and nothing works. I'm not sure if the hardware in the controllers is going bad, or is if something in the console is. I also use a 3rd party charging station with rechargeable battery packs for the controllers, but I've also used standard batteries in place of the rechargeable packs.

    Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Also the Xbox One controllers work on the new Series consoles.
