My Xbox Series S controller buttons aren’t working, but the joysticks are

Hello,

My controller was completely fine the day before, the buttons (A, X, Y and B) were completely fine. The next day, when I went to play on it, the buttons weren’t working.

I’ve had reset the controller and the console and it didn’t work. What should I do?

I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues.

Please check if this issue occurs with the controller connected via USB cable and also wirelessly.

Additionally, check if it also occurs when connecting it to another device, such as a PC or smartphone.

My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore

Same here, the exact same problem on my XBOX series X and S....

from 6 joysticks I have, only 2, elite 1 and and old xbox one s controller, without updated firmware, are working fine.

but all my fancy new Xbox series controllers are having this problem since past year and I was thinking the problem were my controller battery (I have the official charge and play battery on all my controllers)

hopefully they will address this soon...

First, we need to powercycle the controller by following the steps below:

"Press and hold the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off.

Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Xbox button again to turn the controller back on."

It doesn't make sense for me to get the Adaptive Controller to use my Logitech Extreme 3D joystick. Why not just use it on the XBox Series S console via one of the USB inputs??

Let me try another plan……….

Is it possible to connect the „XBox Series s“ console with a windows 10 PC using USB?

In this case I could use my Joystick as usual and had the voice from the PC Speaker!
