My Xbox series s completely restarted?

I have an xbox series s. I turned it on today only to find that its asking me to choose a language, internet connection, and to sign in to my microsoft account. It also asked my to choose a new password and date of birth. It's like my xbox is brand spanking new. Like i never even signed onto it. Never had this happen before. It is some sort of factory reset or something? Should i be concerned. This is the only way ive been able to try to find help on this.

I'm on the Xbox Series S. It does say "Completed" and I just checked my games and apps and there not there.
