My Xbox Series Controller is detected as two separate controllers. How do I stop this?

This issue could be due to a Bluetooth compatibility issue between the controller and your computer. Try updating the Bluetooth drivers on your computer, or checking for any available firmware updates for your computer's Bluetooth adapter. If the issue persists, you may need to try a different Bluetooth adapter or use a cable to connect the controller to your computer.

• I have tried a different headset with my two controllers and it was the same
  
• I have tried on my two different controllers and on two different xboxs
  

This has never happened to me before and I am very confused. It was weird how one controller stopped working with my mic, and when I swapped over to my second controller, it too stopped working with my mic two weeks after the first controller. With trying out my controllers on another xbox, it leads me to believe that it is not specifically a xbox console problem and has something to do with my controllers.

What about at Game stop ? I wonder , which type do I need to get ? To try and get two controllers. Would appreciate any help in this manner . Wanting to purchase the XBOX One for my son . But , with two controllers . If possible . If not , How much is just
one controller ?

No problem, I have a Carbon Black Controller which is the model that comes with the Xbox Series X

I ran solutions 1 2 and 3, troubleshooting didn't detect anything wrong. Restarting my laptop didn't help, and the controller doesn't turn on no matter how long I hold the button. I can't do solution 4 because the driver is just corrupt or something as it's
being detected as "Controller Updater", not "xbox controller".

Is there anything else?
