My Xbox series 1 is showing color spots during games

Based on what you shared, I can provide three possible solutions:

A. You may want to perform a physical power cycle on your console:

“Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Note: If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important: If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying “Xbox on,” won't be enabled until you restart the console.”

2. Factory reset your console. However, you may want to keep your games and apps before considering the “delete everything” option.

This can be done by opening Xbox settings > system > console info > pick “reset”

For us to properly isolate the cause, I would like to ask some questions:

1. Did you try using a different HDMI cable?
2. Did you try connecting your console to another port in your monitor/TV, or if you’re able, to connect the console to a different TV?
3. Is your console enrolled in the Xbox insider program?

Lastly, I want to ask what troubleshooting or possible solutions you tried to solve this problem.

Thank you for reaching out. Most games allow you to configure display settings from either the main menu or during gameplay. From my experience, the most popular setting type is sliders to change brightness. color, etc. For something like Path of Exile,
I recommend digging around and find what kind of options you have and find a sweet spot.
