My Xbox screen is on a wide display

I poured a large coffee into my xbox 2 days ago and I let it sit for a day and it turned on and everything was good, until I turned it off and turned it back on and now the screen is wide and there is a black bar at the top and bottom of the screen, also
the quality has gone down, what do I do?

Xbox One Streaming: Setting resolution to match monitor resolution and aspect ratio

Hi! I love this streaming thing! How do I set the streaming display resolution to match my monitor? I have a 21:9 monitor and I was stoked to play some destiny in panoramic wide screen, but no joy, black bars on the sides of the screen Is there a way
to change the streaming aspect ratio or resolution? Thank you!

 

All games are suddenly widescreen

If I recall, lowering resolution will bring the display to more of square shape instead of wide screen. I don't exactly recommend that if you do have actually have a HD wide screen TV with HDMI since that would let you get closer to native resolution, giving
you better image and less screen lag still.

Or you ask to repair the console, or the second chance is to get a new one i think :S

Contact official support to ship it in for a repair..

Coffee and Xbox are not a good combo..
