Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that your console does not recognize your Game Pass. I understand that it shows active on your console. However, as part of our isolation, let's check if your subscription shows active on your Microsoft profile, please login to this link using the same Microsoft profile that you use in your console: https://account.microsoft.com/services

If it shows active, let's ensure that your console's cache will be cleared, I would recommend that you perform a power cycle, kindly follow the steps below.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 50 seconds.

Important: Make sure that you wait at least 50 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

If the power cycle does not resolve your issue, let's re-sync your Xbox profile from your console. Kindly logout from your Xbox by pressing the Xbox button, select Profile & system, and then select Sign out to sign out and back in. Check for the subscription once more after logging back in. Kindly make sure that the Microsoft account that you are using is the account where you purchased the subscription.

I said my Xbox live membership expired months ago but there is the icon I would say above my profile which says Gold just like it did when I had the membership active

I can log into Xbox PC Gamepass fine and play Xbox games. But when I try to play an EA Play game(The Saboteur this morning) it doesn’t allow me to play and redirects me to EA app where it says I DONT have an EA Play membership which is weird because I DO have a Gamepass ultimate membership. All works fine on console it seems. I’ve restarted, logged out and back in. It’s clearly on EA side not registering our EA play membership through Gamepass. I’m just going to move in to another game, and Xbox game and hopefully EA gets it fixed. Nothing more can be done from my end.

I'm having the same issue, it's been almost a week. Whenever I try to play online it says that I need a Gold Membership, but when I try to purchase a new month of Gold it says my account already has an active membership. I contacted tech support yesterday
and after some back and forth the issue was resolved and I was able to play games online, but when I logged back on today the issue was back... still unable to play online.

Microsoft is saying this is not the case. They are saying it's more of a license tied to a device and not a subscription that is supposed to tie to my account. This is my issue right now, when it came to activating the Gamepass (All-Access) that came with my Series-X it never tied to my account. I have 2 consoles, and I can only play Gamepass on the Series-X.
